Accredited Exercise Physiologist - Part Time

South Eastern Active Health is a unique personal healthcare and injury management organisation. We break the stereotype of therapists working in competition and use a collaborative and inclusive approach to healthcare. Our patients range from acute to chronic care, with our focus on musculoskeletal conditions and functional rehabilitation.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist to join our team and establish clinical exercise services at South Eastern Active Health. This will be predominantly through growing your own client base by engaging the local community, sports clubs and healthcare professionals, plus promotion of Exercise Physiology services to the clinic’s existing client base.

About the role

  • Primary: Provide clinical exercise prescription for acute and chronic MSK conditions and injuries
  • Secondary: Provide lifestyle and exercise interventions to chronic disease populations
  • Private, Medicare, DVA and TAC patients (no NDIS)
  • 1:1 and small group classes
  • Initially 4 days a week, with potential for growth
  • Base salary plus incentives
  • Reporting to the Director, Dr Daniel Grynberg

  • Have exceptional attention to detail
  • Willing to learn and integrate into the Practice
  • Experience with Cliniko preferred but not essential

You must have…

  • Great communication skills on the phone, email and face to face
  • The ability to build rapport with your patients
  • In-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal protocols
  • Current ESSA registration
  • Current PI insurance to the value of $10m
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Current Working with Children check
