Active’s Mission Statement

Active’s mission statement is what our core task is in the Team’s, members and public eyes. It is the core component of every Team member’s job. You must know, believe, respect and strive to achieve the Mission Statement on a daily basis. This statement must energise your every effort at work every day.

Active’s Corporate Vision

There are 5 BHAGs that the Active Team are aiming for to help reach our corporate vision:

1. To develop the finest Team of fitness professionals in Australia - a well-educated, loyal, determined, success oriented, time efficient, cohesive team. This will be measured by each Team member being in huge demand by Fitness Clubs all over Australia. But the Team stays together because of continually facing new challenges, teamwork and a loyalty to the members, fellow Team members and the Active Directors.
   
   
2. To provide a consistent service and message to the members and the community. This includes modern programming based upon current research; awesome pro-active services from all Team Members; and a consistent community message through our marketing, advertising and branding.
   
   
3. To have profit centres under the Active umbrella. Success of a health club means that memberships – new and renewing – provide less than 70% of the Club’s income. It is our responsibility to develop other opportunities to provide income to the Club with the aim of a minimum 20% profit per income producing activity or product.
   
   
4. To be at the forefront of the fitness industry when it is recognised as a credible industry within business circles. For years the fitness industry has not been regarded with any importance. This is beginning to change and our goal is to be at the forefront when the business, medical and other industries admit the results of the fitness industry can have a profound effect on the economy and health of our nation.
   
   
5. To provide a career path for all Team members within the Active Company. We will always provide opportunities for individuals to grow with increased responsibilities and internal promotion the preferred option.

Active’s Objectives

Our key objective is to have our member’s using the Club.

We must make sure the member feels comfortable in the Club. If members are comfortable in the Club, they will use the Club and when they use they will achieve results.

If they achieve results, they will keep coming because they are happy.

And more importantly they will tell their friends about Active Health Club.
